At Royal Markys, careful monitoring begins from the first day of life.
Each newborn kitten is identified by a coloured collar and weighed daily at approximately the same time. This allows us to track individual growth and quickly notice any changes that may require attention.
We also observe:
- daily weight gain;
- nursing and feeding;
- activity and strength;
- body warmth;
- behaviour around the mother;
- general comfort and development.
Nyusha’s five kittens are active, nursing well, and staying close to their mother. Their weights, progress, and daily condition are carefully recorded.
These simple daily checks help us make sure that every kitten receives the care and attention needed during the most important first weeks of life.
